January 11, 2004. Old Russian New Year Celebration. More than 300 in attendance, the largest crowd ever.

February 22, 2004. Film Showing at Eckerd College: “Oligarch (The Tycoon)”

March 1-15, 2004. Musical Ambassadors Ekaterina Frolova and Kristina Miller.

March 7, 2004. Concert at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Performances at local high schools and universities.

March 17-21, 2004. SPIFFS at Pinellas Expo Center. Our first year as full participants in the SPIFFS Folk Festival.

April 18, 2004. Pot-luck Picnic at Bill Grant’s House.

May 8, 2004. Annual meeting and election of officers at Palladium Theater. Announcement of the winners in the Russian Anecdotes & Proverbs competition. Concert following the meeting of classical music and ballet.

September 11, 2004. Fall Meeting with Presentation by Student Ambassadors, Natalia Krupitskaya and Maria Kiselyova, from St. Petersburg, Russia.

September 25, 2004. Farewell Dinner for Ambassadors. Collection for the victims of the terror in Beslan School tragedy.

November 10, 2004. Kristina Miller gives Piano Concert at Eckerd College. Our musical ambassador from St. Petersburg, Russia returns for an encore performance.

November 11, 2004. Two Russian Films shown at Eckerd College. Bluebird of Happiness (1976). A film joint venture between US and USSR. The War (2002). Film about the war in Chechnya.
